How modular kitchen cost is calculated in 2026
Kitchens are priced by running feet of cabinets, not by the room. Base cabinets (below the counter) cost ₹2,300–3,600 per running foot in laminate, wall cabinets ₹1,300–2,000 per rft, and tall units ₹30,000–45,000 each. The shutter finish is the biggest multiplier: acrylic adds about 25%, PU paint 40%, veneer 35%. Hardware (Hettich, Hafele, Blum) moves the price 10–35%. Counter tops are per sq ft — granite ₹220–300, quartz ₹400–550, Dekton or Italian marble ₹900–1,300.
